Blackmagic Design was created in November 2000 by Jamie Horner, and is based in Vancouver, Canada.

Our goal is to merge the outdoors and technology with a sublime design. Thus increasing our enjoyment of our pursuits without feeling intruded on by technology.

We offer design consulting services as well as developing our own products for the outdoor world. Specializing in electronics and small micro embedded systems we design electronics to be fun in the outdoors.

Some of our current design efforts are in creating Websites to encourage and promote the outdoors, and systems to develop sailboat racing skills...
