Andre Dantzler’s company, SociallyU, has been at the forefront of virtual production innovation for several years. Two Angles from One Camera!
“We have developed a technique with DVEs and Aux Outputs that allows us to create additional camera angles from one single camera. We use an ME with a DVE to zoom in on the raw shot of the subject, and send that zoomed in view to an Ultimatte. When combined with an enlarged and blurred background image, the resulting image looks like a separate angle with a longer focal length!”
Making Workflow Easy!
